These Shell dwelling cichlids have personality and love their shells. To make these fish feel at home, besides keeping them in their ideal water parameters, they do love shells to hide in. They will often take care of their young and even share their shells with them.
These fish are locally bred and are kept in waters with a pH of 7.6, TDS 165, temperature at 78C, GH 150, and KH 100.
